Nan, Inc. wins rail contract for Kamehameha Highway stations group

The Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation awarded the contract for the Kamehameha Highway Stations group to Nan, Inc. on Tuesday.
Nan, Inc. will receive $115.8 million for the contract as HART considered the company the “lowest responsible responsible bidder.”
When bids opened last month the lowest bid appeared to be from Watts Constructors, who bid $112.7 million. However, HART said: “After evaluation of all the bids, Watts Constructors’ bid was deemed to be non-responsive.”
The station group includes the Pearl Highlands station, the Pearlridge station and the station at Aloha Stadium. Read more at bizjournals
